Anglais
Why do I love to teach?
Teaching is an enjoyable atmosphere in which my students and I exchange ideas about culture, the Arts, sport, and technology interactively.
An author that is inspirational to me
My inspirational author is life itself. We learn a lot from the happy, gloomy, sad, and exciting stories of our lives. Literature, music, dance, and painting tell us these stories in beautiful ways.
My favourite quote
‘There is no one to beat you / No one to defeat you / Except the thought of yourself feeling bad.’ This quote from Bob Dylan’s poem ‘To Ramona’ (1963) teaches me that a mistake must NOT make me feel bad. It makes me able to improve and feel good.
My interests
Discovering exciting worlds and ideas when I read, write, travel, teach, love, and cook are among my most favourite interests.
My favourite fictional hero
My fictional heroes are many, but my real heroes are my students who show resilience and courage to bloom and succeed. I am here to help them in that process.
The aspects of English I am passionate about
I am passionate about all aspects of English as they all closely intertwine. Either as a medium of communication or a space of meaning invention, English is central to the things I am most passionate about in my life.
More about myself
I earned my Doctorate Degree in English Studies (Honours) at L’ université de Montréal in 2015. I was on the Dean’s Honour List as I graduated with High Distinction ‘Mention Exceptionnelle.’
